Very, very, very sweet photo. There's a lot of symbolism here, besides the technical artistry that's going on too. I like the symmetry as well. +fav!

i really like the framing of the razor wire...
...it draws the eye inwards towards the middle
also, the contrast of the darker side to the lighter street is amazing...
...what a great eye
the stark contrast works well with this shot...

overall...

definately worth the work eh? i love the caution sign in the back, gives it a little humor. where was this taken? the building in the background looks familiar. anyways, great contrast and nicely composed, sometimes you have to take the extra step to take an extraordinary picture. great job.

Thats a great picture, i love the perception you chose to take it from! Works out really well, the spiral effect really adds as much as the black and white. Great job!
