***This is not a religious statement as opposed to a social one, this Crucifix gaurds the gates to a cemetary, a cemetary where lies people so concerned with self segregation that every group with even the smallest difference have separated themselves out. in gated sections, I found it ironic that what once was used as a symbol of peace two thousand years ago, has been so warped and is now used to segregate and divide cultures by self percieved worthiness. And we wonder why...***

i had to stop and reflect for a while...

our world is not a perfect one and cannot be perfect no matter how we try. Yet through that symbol, every believer or unbeliever is welcome to take part in His banquet. It is a symbol of peace, unity and not division. It welcomes every one from different race, culture or religion.

so much for the reflection...

The angle and the cruxiform silhouette are indeed strong symbology...made even more cryptic by the blur of the mysterious background. I appreciate that you can see the details of the object, it makes this even stronger. Great description to go with this too, I couldn't agree more.
